Q: Can I take classes if I'm not a permanent resident? A: You can't take our full-time classes during the day, but you can take our evening part-time classes at the New York Public Libraries.

Q: How many levels do you have? A: We have 4 levels, ranging from beginners to high intermediates.
Q: Can I take more than one class? A: Yes, but continuation is not automatic. We will consider your level of English, whether you have been absent or late frequently, among other things.
Q: How much do classes cost? A: Our classes are free.
Q: How many people are in class? A: About 25.
Q: What books do I need? A: All you need is a notebook and a couple of pens.
Q: Can I leave classes early (to go to my job, pick up my kids, etc.)? A: No, you can not leave school early or be late regularly. If that is your situation try our part-time classes at the New York Public Libraries instead.
Q: Can I bring my children to school? A: No you can't. We're sorry, but we don't have daycare available.
Q: My son (daughter) is younger than 16. Can he (she) attend classes? A: Talk to us about that situation. People who haven't finished High School and are under 16 are required by law to enroll with the Department of Education.
Q: Will I receive any stipend or transportation reimbursement from your school while I am studying there? A: No, stipends are not given. Students are responsible for their own transportation costs.
Q: Do I need to apply for a grant to come to your school? A: No grants are required to study here.
